The world of Cynturi as we know it...
A lush island chain nestled in the sea, hidden away from other places.. this is where your story begins.
But no place is without its fair share of problems, as all things. With an attack on the four Aether Islands, where is worshipped the natural power of Pokemon and of a strange deity, news spreads quickly. In the panic of these attacks, legends are respoken, all the more frightening with their renewed significance. The Syndicate, a group shrouded in mystery and dark rumors, is quickly set to blame, but nobody knows. All we know is, artifacts long since covered by time are now in danger, and with them, all of Cynturi.
Better hurry, Pokemon trainer. It won't be long now.

If you haven't heard (and you must have, if you made it here), Gen 6 is going to be a Pokemon game centered in the Cynturi region, though it is currently very much in progress. This game will feature a slew of new creatures (I'm planning on 151 of them), a region, its own plot, and multiplayer trading and battling compatibility. Everything mentioned in the last sentence is also being worked on, as there is so much to think about when considering making something like this. Yes, there's sprites and maps and plots, but what about music? What about the code? Should we add anything?
This is the player's game. I'm not working on it for myself, I'm working on it for the people who will enjoy it. But I want you all to be a part of it too. Well, partly because burying myself under all this work would discourage me enough to give up making this game entirely, but also because I want the players to work together. It's possible that when this is finished a Gen 7 game might be made, or more. Nintendo is running out of ideas. Let's step up and put together our own.
This is a very short "About all of this, the forum and all of the work", but at the time I'm writing this, it's been in progress for maybe two weeks. There's not much yet to know about. And that's where it stands right now, because there'll be more to know when we put it together.
